A birthday to remember

You know Christina? That little cutie who tends the bar over at Bert's Tavern in Mill Creek?

Well, if you don't, you oughta!

This little lady is a firecracker, and if you're anywhere within her airspace, then there's no doubt that you've met her. Christina is a people-person with an exuberance and giddiness that is warm and attractive. She celebrated her birthday last month, and invited all her current friends and those friends that she hasn't even met yet, to come play a friendly game of darts at Bert's.

The bar kicked in $250 of their own cash to support the purpose, and players responded favorably. It was Friday, December 8, and as usual, they had munchies and even a cake set out for everyone to enjoy. Christina, surprisingly, worked during the event, saying, “This is where all my friends are, plus I can still wake up in the morning.”

Jason ran the tournament in fine fashion and handed out prizes to the players. Christina's fanbase circled the bar and chewed the fat with her all night long. She was happy to be surrounded by friends and loved ones.

Happy birthday, Christina, we look forward to next year, even though you probably don't!

The happy winners of the tournament were as follows:

1st Place : Kim and Rob – $200

2nd Place : Jacob and Arthur – $100

3rd Place : Jennifer and Daren – $80

4th Place : Mary and Ray – $20 G.C.
