Friday nights going strong

Fridays are rockin’ at Stars Bar and Grill in Federal Way!
Joe, TJ and Glen have a good thing going at Stars every Friday night, when they’re typically signing up anywhere from 12-16 teams on a regular basis. Together, these guys have taken a dying program and revitalized it, becoming one of the main stops for the week.
Stars has always been a Mecca for dart players when someone shows interest in heading up the whole affair. Well, Joe, TJ and Glen are jelling and the chemistry is working for lots of southend players. The atmosphere is festive and fun. Lots of pretty girls and super tall dudes! It’s kinda like standing in a forest of trees.
These guys are really putting a shot in the arm at Stars. They have 21 teams playing for them this season. That’s up six from last season. They’re actively petitioning for another board for their players and swear they’ve got the space for it.
The Friday night crowd is comfortable and friendly. Everybody knows everybody very well.
The dart area has recently changed if you haven’t been in for awhile. Joe moved all the boards to the west wall. It’s a logical improvement. Karaoke is going strong at the other end of the bar with host, Seth. The pool table is always occupied. The crowd that likes to hang out at Stars like to party! It’s a lively place. Of course, you’ve got your weekday regulars who come in early and occupy the space at the bar, which is sunken by about two or three feet.
Joe and the guys are hosting Super Count-Up Qualifiers every Wednesday at 7:30pm for anyone who wants to earn their way to, I dunno, FIFTY THOUSAND DOLLARS!
Mike and Terri snagged a third place the night the Medallion showed up. They took home sixty bucks for their “work” that night. TJ and Mike, held the driver’s seat, when they split for first place with Mike and Shawn around 1:30am. Don’t even ask me which Mike is which, cuz honestly, I couldn’t tell ya. I just know that I was surrounded by Mikes that night. Way to go guys!
Stars is a cool bar for sure and you really oughta check ‘em out for a Friday night dart shoot. You’ll know most of the players and you’re guaranteed a good time. Find them at 312th and Pacific Hwy S. in Federal Way.
