Shaffer Distributing in Indianapolis has given away some pretty cool stuff and they’re not going to stop doing it anytime soon. They currently have two tournaments going on in which you can win big just by playing the games you’re already playing.

Tournamaxx, a tournament using the Merit Megatouch countertop games, is a local tournament amongst all the Shaffer Distributing operated Megatouch online Force games. Local tournament means that you have a really good chance of winning. You’re not competing against the entire country, just people in the Indianapolis area. You don’t even have to be good at the game. You don’t even have to place in the top 20 to win. They award points not only to the top 20, but to the person who ends up in 25th, 50th, 75th, 100th and 150th place each month. So sure, if your good you might end up in the top 20, but if you stink, you might get lucky and end up in one of the other payour spots.

What do you do with the points you win? You redeem those points for great prizes that are in the “Get Some” Rewards Catalog, which by the way, are attached to every Tournamaxx enabled machine, that’s how you know where to play. Lori Davis knows how that works, she accumulated some points and decided on a digital camera. If that weren’t enough, they also give away a bonus prize each month for the person who comes in first. One month it was a 24" flatscreen TV and a DVD player, Charles Kehrer won that. The next month, Laura Martin won a 20" flatscreen TV / DVD / VCR combo. In August, Beets Calabrese won a portable DVD player. Septembers’ contest winner received a TIVO unit and a free year of TIVO service. When the October results are in, someone will get a home theater sound system. The game for November is “Run 21” and the winner will get another cool prize. That still isn’t the end of the bonus prizes, each month, the ten people who placed in the top ten will be entered in a drawing to win a trip for

two to Las Vegas. If you do the math, ten people each month for six months, they have a one in 60 chance of winning the trip, and some people got into the top ten more than once, even better odds! The second big giveaway contest is on their PGA Championship Golf games. Just for playing video golf you could win a trip to golf at any number of famous golf courses, or a Caribbean cruise, or if you just want some cash, a $2000 prepaid Visa card. It’s a three month long tournament in which you accumulate points for Hole-in-Ones, Eagles, Double Eagles, etc. The more points you accumulate, the more entries you get in the drawing. Each month one lucky player gets a $150 prepaid Visa card just for participating, you don’t have to get any points at all, play at least once and you could win.
