The “Golden Tee Vegas Challenge” Final brought to you by Killian’s Irish Red, The Blitz and Shaffer Services’ participating bars and taverns was held at the UA Pub Saturday October 2nd, preceded by three qualifying tournaments.

This is Round three of a yearlong promotion with four rounds of tournaments that have now been rolled out to more than 200 bars and taverns citywide, again, exclusive with Shaffer Services equipment.

The Vegas Challenge just ended with 430 players participating in the overall event. There were 48 players who advanced to the three playoff tournaments held at Alumni Grill, Blarney Stone and BW3 Gahanna, with the top four players in each advancing to the final. The top 12 were Lee McAdams, Jeff Lauback, Phil Evers, Tom Coffield, Dan Pollock, Jeff Bednarz, Ambarish Khatri, Kenny Hathaway, Kevin Kenney, Dave Arnold, Bill Steitz and Jeff Gaal. Finishing first; Ambarish Khatri, winning the trip to Vegas and $250, 2nd Place and $400 went to Bill Steitz, $300 and 3rd Place belongs to Tom Coffield and $400 was awarded to Lee McAdams for coming in 4th Place. Overall more than $3,500 in cash and prizes were awarded. Everyone had a great time and is looking forward to round four of this event starting October 18th.

The citywide invitational Round four will have a new Golden Tee game for the winners home use. So make sure you keep up with the event and play to win. There is one secret you should know; the more you play, the more chances you have of winning.

Round four starts October 18th and runs thru December 9th. Remember you must play in “League Play” Mode on a Shaffer Services Golden Tee Game. It will cost you only $4 per 18 holes of play.
