FREEDOM OF CHOICE IS AT STAKE IN COLUMBUS

Freedom of choice is what people in other countries only dream about. Freedom of choice is what our forefathers gave us. Freedom of choice is what was fought for not only in the Revolutionary War, but in the war of 1812, the Civil War, WWI, WWII, Korea, Vietnam and every other war thereafter. If sacrifices were made and lives lost for this principal of freedom, why did the Columbus City Council think people would just roll over and give up their established rights? Vote against issue 12 and keep your right to freedom of choice!

As adults you have the right to have the freedom of choice in the businesses you want to support and the places you want to go. If you want to have a night out at our favorite tavern to play darts or pool, you have the right to do so. If you want to go to a non-smoking restaurant for dinner, you have the right to do that as well. But you make the choice, not some political group who thinks you dont have the capability of making decisions for yourself.

By voting against issue 12, you will be sending a clear message to Columbus City Council that government has interfered with your individual rights too much and you are taking a stand here and now to keep your rights. By voting against issue 12, you are also sending the message that any future attempts at taking away your individual rights will be met with the same resistance.

By voting against issue 12, you allow the local business owner, your neighbor; to have the right to conduct business in the manner that would best serve his customers, you. The business owner that has put his life savings and mortgaged his home to make your neighborhood better and created jobs for people in your area which must be maintained by voting against issue 12!

Vote for freedom of choice by voting against Issue 12!
