Stinger’s $1,000 Payout

Sixty-four players came to play some darts and warm up for the big NDA Shoot. Stinger’s was packed and the fun was happening.

After the draw, it seemed as if it was over before it started. Hot-shooting Tom McCartney drew Master’s Top Gun, Dave Fatum. Two matches into the day they would be in the loser’s bracket, which wasn’t good news for the other losers.

Kix Alcala was on fire and moving through the winner’s bracket with Steve Craren. But there was a team in the loser’s bracket that was taking people out left and right. Mike Bates and James Roberts looked like they were on a mission.

But the road to the top had to go through Dave and Tom. Well, Mike and James took the big guys out and headed toward the top. After a battle with James’ brother, Chris, and JR Castillo, they would face off with Kix and Steve.

Steve was playing as good as ever, and Kix was coming off his top Masters’ season. But they would prove no match for Master Bates and James. A double-dipper and see ya later! Great job by Stinger’s, and thanks to all who made it to the tournament.
