Troy Vending Christmas

American Southwest/Troy Vending Darts held their 10th Annual Christmas Party on December 17th at the Elks Lodge in Tempe. Players from the East Valley and Central Phoenix Dart Leagues came out to enjoy the day’s festivities. Two tournaments started at 10am – the Women's 301 Freeze Doubles and Men's Cricket Doubles.

After the completion of the morning tournaments, dinner was served, during which a singles 501 tournament was held. Over the course of the evening, more than $1,500 in door prizes were also raffled off, including a DVD player, home theater system, stereo system and much more. Some of the big winners included: Gary Zies; Pool Table Combo, Carolyn Patterson; Valley Dart Board, Ray Arreola; Flat Screen TV, Tom Baumann; MP3 Player.

After the banquet dinner and door prizes were distributed, it was time for the Main Event. Sixty-two players were signed up for the blind draw tournament in hopes of winning some of over $1,200 in cash. All in all, over $2,000 was paid out between the four tournaments.
