SixShooters Friday Night tournaments have been nothing less than spectacular. With only
word of mouth to get the players there, it has become the place to be on Friday nights.
M Lo (aka Martin Lopez, aka Latino Heat) has taken on the Tournament Director position
and the players have come out. In the four tourneys this year, they have had an average
of 36 players.
With a large dart room and plenty of boards to play on, SixShooters has become the hot
dart spot for players of all calibers.
You can also play on the board of your choice with the New Galaxy II, the Valley Cougar
and the Galaxy I. Boards are always left open for splash games or for the players not
participating in the tournament. On Friday the 13th, it was a magical night, if not
scary. There were 36 players in all, which meant an excellent payout. A great blend of
Masters, Ladies, and lower players always makes for a great time. The team to beat was
Big Bob Castillo and myself. Bob got there a little late (there's a first) and we
played The Rymer Factor and Harry (No more Cheese stuff) John right off the bat.
Talk about an old fashion ass waxing, we were gone in 60 seconds. At that point it was
an open field for the top of the winner's bracket. The Factor and Harry were walking
through the field like a cheap suit. (Or whatever, you get the point).
But, sneaking through the losers bracket like a bazooka at a BB Gun convention (that's
funny, I don't care who you are), was Bob and I.
We made it to the finals, and you know the rest of the story, or tune in to Paul Harvey
to find out. Just kidding, we got our revenge and smoked them. I was on fire, en
faygo, or something. But hey, there is no "I" in team.
But there sure is a ME. No really, Bob helped out too, and Harry and The Factor had run
out of Steam, so maybe I wasn't really on fire, maybe just warm. But we won. Come bye
and see the new layout at SixShooters. It's Greatttttt!
