The banquet for the Central Phoenix Dart League was held at Pat Murphy�s on Saturday, September 4th. Six leagues were scheduled to be there, so everybody was looking forward to a good party.

The highly anticipated awards banquet paid out over $9,000 in prize money. Forty players signed up to play in the 200% payback dart tournament, featuring a $400 tournament purse.

Tying for fifth were the teams of Travis Lightfoot and Mike Kurley, along with Kit Innis and John Varela. Harry Keri (Harry John and Keri Ruckman) captured the fourth spot.

In third place were Joe Gaona and Brad Harris. Wayne Benner and Jim Dedrick took home second place, and Miguel Lozoya and Chris Tinkey came home with the gold (OK, it wasn�t the �gold� but it had been a long time since Chris had won a tournament, it sure felt like it to him).

Thank again to Lance for hosting a great banquet, Brian for cooking a delicious banquet buffet and Brenda, our lovely bartender. We hope to see all of you again next season.
