STINGER’S SPORTSBAR; GLENDALE, AZ Stinger’s Sportsbar in Glendale hosted the NDA Vegas Send-Off Party on Saturday April 19. As usual, Dale did his part by providing great food, great service and drink specials. There were great raffle prizes and lots of fun for all. One problem; the turnout was disappointing, as has been the case of late, with only 34 players showing up to this great event. I know NASCAR was here (what a joke), but lots of people worked real hard to make this event great and I felt it went unappreciated. Even the Team AZ Shirts weren’t enough to draw the players. A $15 top-of-the-line pocketed shirt for $5 couldn’t even get it done. We had fun anyway with enough players to make it a great day. About 150 players are going to be strutting their stuff in Vegas and this was to celebrate the great popularity of darts in Arizona. In fact it was so much fun, we ran a second tournament.
