Bates, Chester reopen Sixshooters as Bull Shooters

Fret not my friends, for there is a bright light on the horizon. This light will shine in even the darkest of places. It will illuminate the unknown and supersede even the darkest of days.

This particular light will create energy and excitement and will emanate from two key individuals, a dream team of sorts. A dream team that will restore the sanity to our chaotic reality. Surely we speak of the dynamic duo of Mr. Mike Bates and Sir Daryl Chester of local dart bar fame.

The Medallion has the unique opportunity to announce the coming of a brand new sportsbar to the valley of the sun to which all sportsbars will be compared. These two great minds have recently joined forces to publicly introduce the all-new Bull Shooters Sportsbar, located at 3337 W. Peoria in Phoenix. Yep! The same location where good ol’ Sixshooters once took up residence.

Of course, Daryl was the original mastermind and GM to the extremely successful Sixshooters of old. He brings his incredible years of practical experience to the partnership, proudly and rightfully boasting top-notch management skills second to none.

And his partner… well, you know his partner. This guy manages to get around a bit. You may have seen him at a bar here and there around town. He usually comes complete with darts in hand and is prepared to take you and anyone else to school on the dart board. Mike Bates is a well-respected icon within the darting and bar community throughout Phoenix, the Valley, Arizona and maybe the entire world. Everyone knows Mike to be one of the most gracious and caring individuals a person could ever know. Just to be in his presence is truly a humbling experience that usually results in sweaty palms.

Mike is currently the owner and president of Dart Master, Inc., international supplier and manufacturer of all things dart related. He’s also been instrumental in the growth and coordination of one Men’s Master League for the past 18 years. Mike’s long list of accomplishments include the design and implementation of the famed Arizona Open and continues to be the prime director to this day.

Daryl and Mike will team up to provide the characteristics, amenities and atmosphere in a sportsbar that bar goers have uniformly asked for since the beginning of time. First and foremost will be customer service. A fully dedicated staff will attend to your every need to insure a positive and memorable visit to Bull Shooters. Cleanliness will be a major factor here and they plan to make regular and frequent upgrades creating a brand new look and feel for their customers to enjoy.

Mike vows to make the all-new Bull Shooters Sportsbar the best damn dart and pool bar around and you can take him at his word on that one. There are aspirations of being a catalyst to the rebuilding of darts as we once knew it in Arizona. Together, they want to work closely with surrounding bars to run cross-town challenges, devise a frequent player point system and other collaborative efforts uniting locations and players alike.

A dedicated pool program for all you billiards officionados, plus a brand new menu featuring awesome food at awesome prices and all the things you’re looking for in a favorite hangout will keep you coming back week after week.
