Notes from the road
By David Fatum
Although I have not been playing much locally, when I heard Randy was having another one of his GREAT tournaments at Jimbo’s I had to attend on Thanksgiving Eve. It was a great time as usual, but it seemed a few stories were floating around about what I have been doing.
Contrary to popular belief, I have not retired form darts nor moved back to Canada. In fact, I have been playing darts more then ever, traveling the US playing steel-tip and will be returning to the Masters League in January.
It was a busy year traveling the US with some very satisfying results, which has lead me to committing to even greater challenges for this year. I will be playing three major tournaments in January, one as a member of Team USA at the Bullshooter in Macau, China.
I have re-joined the PDC (Professional Darts Corporation) in England and will be playing primarily over in Europe until the summer, with five trips planned by the month of May.
I hope to take lots of pictures and share my adventures with you as I travel around playing darts throughout Asia and Europe this year. I personally wish to thank Mike Bates and Dart Master for its continued support and faith in my travels around the dart world. Thanks Mike!
So if anyone is looking to get some practice in, just let me know and we can help each other on to better darts. Have fun and see you on the board.
