A little over a month ago, Kristi Boehm organized a dart tournament at one of her favorite bars, The Cash Inn. It was a Women's only shoot, with $500 guaranteed added by the bar.

The tournament happened on a scorching hot Sunday afternoon and was a ton of fun. I was one of the first regular dart players to arrive, even after a couple of wrong turns; and to all you non-believers, I have been on time a few times in my life!

Peggy, the sweetest bartender I have ever met, greeted me and as I waited for others to arrive, I had the coldest beer ever. By the time, I finished my beer, the bar was filling up and in the end there were close to 30 women ready to play.

The majority of women were not regular dart players, so it was great to mix things up and have a chance to meet some really cool women.

Everyone had such a good time that the bar has decided to have another tournament October 20th. The Cash Inn is located at 2120 E McDowell Rd. Hope to see you there.
