NDA expands team with new hires

INDIANAPOLIS, IN – The AMOA-National Dart Association, the international sanctioning body for soft-tip, electronic darts, is pleased to welcome its newest staff members, Director of Communication, Cheri Ellefson, and Sanctioning Coordinator, Andrea Danz.
As the Director of Communications, Cheri Ellefson will be responsible for all aspects of marketing and communication, including ensuring the national and international presence of the NDA. Cheri comes to the NDA from the Indiana Builders Association where she served as their Communications Coordinator and Assistant Editor of their newspaper. She brings a wealth of knowledge, experience and accomplishments that will assist the NDA in its continued growth as the international leader in the sport of soft-tip, electronic darts.
Andrea Danz will serve the NDA as the Sanctioning Coordinator by assisting in the processing sanctions and other related duties. She has been in association management for the last seven years, most recently serving as Director of Membership and Marketing for two national associations. Andrea and her husband will begin mission service in Bangladesh next summer; therefore, this move to a part-time position allows her to focus on preparation for this transition.
Alyssa Pfennig will now focus on member relations, recruitment and retention as the Director of Membership; and Cathy Wheeler will remain as the NDA’s Member Services Coordinator.
The NDA is an international trade association of coin-operated vending companies representing approximately 300 members and 250,000 players worldwide. The NDA was formed by and for coin machine operators to promote the sport of electronic darting exclusively on an operator-owned equipment. The Association offers a variety of programs, materials, and supplies to support its members in increasing the profitability of their dart operations.
