East Valley Wednesday Cricket League Banquet

Wednesday, April 18, Troy Vending held the awards banquet for their Wednesday Cricket League at Famous Sam's on Main and Lindsay in Mesa . The night started out with an excellent turnout from all the league players.

After everyone finished eating and settled in, the team and individual awards were handed out. Twenty-four players signed up for the 200% draw partner tournament. Harry John and Iggy went on to take first place, beating out Teresa Arreola and Mike Westling in the finals.

Congratulations to the league champs, Champions “Shamrocks” from Champions in Mesa . Harry John was the league Top Gun, with a 3.46 mpr.

The North Phoenix Dart League Banquet

The North Phoenix Dart League banquet and the “Send off to Vegas Party” was held on Saturday, April 21 at Sixshooters. Over $17,000 was paid out between the 14 dart leagues in cash, trophies, league champion shirts and other prizes. Over $1,000 in prizes were given away to the league players. For every league that you played in, your name was entered in the drawing, which included a full-sized Galaxy Dart Board, won by Michael Risotti, a 27” color TV won by Bob Bonicelli and a DVD and Home Surround Sound System won by Lendy LaPoint. Another TV, DVD players and FREE league dues were also handed out.

After all of the award presentations, it was time for the Blind Draw $1,000 Added Dart Tournament. Over 90 players signed up for the tournament. Fourth place went to Dean Sitzler and Jimmy Damore and third place went to the team of Ted Martinez and Kenny Wright. Christian Reidel and Van Williams claimed second place and Michael Scarborough and Kenny Hulsey battled through to take first place and $800. Great shooting everyone!
