Stinger's Anniversary Celebration of Darts

Stingers celebrated their first anniversary in true darting style with a whole week of tournaments. They kicked it off on Monday with a $1,000 shoot and finished up the following Monday with another $1,000 shoot. In between was a $500 Men Only, a $500 Women Only, and $2,500 Grand event on Friday.

Dale was the perfect host, throwing in another $3,000 in raffle prizes that included a 46 inch large screen TV, a Valley Cougar Dart Board, and five 15 inch flat screen televisions. He let the dart players call their own drink specials all week, brought in extra staff, and really showed the dart community that he appreciates their business.

We raffled off a television every night of the week and raffled the Valley Cougar Dart Board and big screen TV on Friday.

We kicked off the week Monday with a $1,000 payout that had 66 people turning out to play.

1st place: Rick Schoen, Christian Reidel

2nd place: Tom McCartney, Dave Fatum

3rd place: Lucky Newberry, Brian Mann

On Wednesday, we held a $500 Men's Shoot that had 30 men competing. Lucky Newberry and Pat Womack took first place in that one.

Thursday night, the Women's Shoot had 30 women show up. They battled it out till 1am in the morning!

2nd place: Denise, Sherri

3rd place: Misty, Wendy

For Friday's tournament was advertised as a $2,000 payout and we had 78 people show up. Dale wanted to show his appreciation for the large showing, so he added another $500 to make it a $2,500 payout.

3rd place: Chris Roberts, Mike Scarborough

4th place: Marty Scarborough and Rick Pujdak

The following Monday was the final $1,000 Shoot, and again, we had a great turnout and a good shoot:

3rd place: Mike Bates, Dave Fatum

4th place: Chris Watson, Mark Lance

Raffle tickets for some big items were on sale prior to and all during the week of events. The lucky winners were:
