Plenty of tomfoolery at Shenanigans
Last week, I made it over to Shenanigans for the Friday night tournament. If you haven’t been there, it is a pretty unique type of bar. It is actually in the same building as a tire shop, and if you didn’t know it was hidden on the back side you may very well miss it.
Shenanigans is located at 2244 W. Bell Road in Phoenix, and is well worth the hunt to find it. It is a two-story bar with a pretty cool atmosphere. They have set up a nice dart area with three boards on a stage all by themselves. If they need more boards they have them up stairs. The service was great and the drinks were cold.
Later we grabbed some wings and nachos, and they were also very good. It is a nice clean place and I had a lot of fun. Andy Harris runs the tournament with help from others. Twenty-two players were there and on this night it would be Seth Rathbun and Bob Castillo taking home the crown and the first place cash. It was my first time there in several years and I was still treated like a regular.
Thanks to the Shenanigans staff, I had a fun night. If you ere ever in the area, drop in and say hello.
