There will not be an Ask Mike column this month because,
doggone it, Mike has more important things to do! Please read on to
find out just what he is up to.
Mike will be back next month with answers to more of your questions.
Proud dad, great coach
The Arrowhead Senior Little League Girls Fast Pitch softball team
won the State Championship July 25th. Why is this important in a dart
paper?
Because I, Mike Bates, am the coach, and my daughter plays on the
team. I am totally proud of her, plus I think it is great to show
that we actually have lives outside of darts.
I would like to thank all of my dart friends who supported our team.
Many of you came to the games and even more called and truly were
interested in how the girls did.
We are off to Montana and hopefully to the World Series in Delaware
after that. The girls played hard, outscoring the opponents 86 to
4 in six games to win.
Oh, by the way, my daughter, Jamie, was 16 for 21 with 22 RBI’s
in only six games, and she is the youngest player on the team. I’m
not bragging, just giving you the stats.
