Vending's Dart League banquet
A banquet and award ceremony
for Troy Vending’s North Phoenix Dart Leagues was held Saturday,
July 2nd, at Stinger’s Sports Bar in Glendale. The banquet was for
the Monday and Thursday dart leagues.
Once again, over $9,000 in prize money was paid out between the five dart
leagues and another $9,000 was paid out just the week before for the Sunday,
Tuesday and Wednesday leagues. Folk’s that’s $18,000 paid
out for just one 12-week season!
A plentiful buffet consisting of pizza and wings filled everyone up and
provided time for some good conversation. After the buffet, it was time
for the awards presentations.

With all of the awards distributed, it
was time for the dart tournament. Forty-eight players signed up for the
tournament, not bad for the 4th of July weekend.
The twins, Scott Paga and Ted Martinez, along with Gavin Hickson and Caleb
Raymond tied for fifth place. In fourth place was the team of Kix Alcala
and Dave Maulfair. Third place went to Meggan Gray and Mark Rymer. Claudine
Price and Kurt Gonzales claimed second place and the tournament champions
were Vicki Lovelace and Van Williams. Great shooting!
Troy Vending would like to thank all of the sponsors and players for supporting
